Mebbin-Nationalpark

The Mebbin National Park is a national park in the far northeast of the Australian state of New South Wales, 633 kilometers north of Sydney and about 40 kilometers north of Lismore. To the west of the park closes at the Border Ranges National Park.

The park is part of the shield volcano group of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Gondwana Rainforests, which was declared in 1986 and is on the Australian list of natural monuments since 2007. It forms the western edge of the Mount Warning volcano. Besides rainforests, there are still dry eucalyptus primary forest.
