Mechelle Lewis

Mechelle Lewis ( born November 20, 1980 in Fort Washington, Maryland) is an American sprinter.

Lewis attended the Oxen Hill High School in Maryland, and from 1988 to 2004, the University of South Carolina, where they passed the Bachelor 's and Master's degree in mass communication media. They initially played basketball and joined the women's soccer and finally to Sprint.

In 2007 she won at the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro silver over 100 meters and in the 4 x 100 - meter relay. At the World Athletics Championships in Osaka she left about 100 meters from the semi-finals.

At the Olympic Games in 2008, it launched only in the 4 x 100 - meter relay. Together with Angela Williams, Torri Edwards and Lauryn Williams she retired after a disqualification already out in the flow.
