Medal "For the Capture of Berlin"

The Medal " For the Capture of Berlin " (Russian Медаль « За взятие Берлина ") was a Soviet award in connection with the Battle of Berlin in World War II, which ended with the capture of Berlin by the Red Army. The foundation of the coin was made by Joseph Stalin in 1945. It was awarded to all those members of the Red Army, who were involved in the capture of Berlin.

Stylish look and manner

The bronze medal shows on its obverse below two crossed, upwardly curved, quarter-circular and open laurel branches, which are connected at their lower intersection with a loop. In the center of the coin, the three-line inscription ЗА / ВЗЯТИЕ / БЕРЛИНА is ( for the capture of Berlin ) to read about the a Soviet star is seen.
