Medal "For the Liberation of Prague"

The medal "For the liberation of Prague (Russian Медаль " За освобождение Праги ") was a Soviet award during the Second World War as part of the Prague operation that led to the conquest of Prague by the Red Army. Your foundation was carried out by Josef Stalin, 1945. The ceremony took place to all those members of the Red Army, who were involved in the liberation of Prague from 3 to 9 May 1945. As of 1995, the medal had been awarded to 400,000 people.

Stylish look and manner

The bronze medal shows on its obverse below two crossed, upwardly curved quarter-circular and open laurel branches, which are connected at their lower intersection by a red star. Between the curved laurel branches a radiant sun rises.
