Médanos Isthmus
The Isthmus of Médanos is a land bridge between the Venezuelan Caribbean coast at Coro and Paraguaná Peninsula.
Its length is about 25 km with a width of 4-6 km.
Worth seeing are the Médanos - shifting dunes, which extend along the isthmus. To protect the Medanos National Park was established in 1974.
