Medical University of Varna

The Medical University of Varna ( rarely Medical University of Varna, Bulgarian Медицински университет ". . Проф П Стоянов " ) in Varna is one of five medical universities in Bulgaria. It was founded on 1 October 1961. Current Rector is Krassimir Ivanov.

The university has four faculties:

• Faculty of Medicine,
• Faculty of Stomatology,
• Faculty of Health
• Faculty of Dentistry

Other institutions:

• Department of foreign languages ​​, communication and sports.
• The Affiliate Academy provides training in medical assistant professions such as nursing, therapy and rehabilitation.

The University is a member of the network of Balkan Universities ( Albania, Bosnia - Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, Kosovo, Croatia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Turkey, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro).
