European Medium Term Note

European Medium Term Notes (EMTN, also Euro Medium Term Notes ) is a collection (a " basket" ) of medium-term bonds.

Under a so-called EMTN program, a sort of Framework agreement between companies and bond traders ( mostly banks ), companies will allow the issuance of securities in the European and Asian capital market flexibly procuring outside capital in the shortest possible time. Both times, currency as well as the construction of the individual programs can vary significantly. Possible are both standard bonds and floaters with variable interest component.
