Mediumwave transmitter Flevoland

The medium-wave transmitter Flevo is operated by the Dutch broadcasting. The facility is located near Zeewolde and sends on the frequencies 747 kHz and 1008 kHz medium wave with an output of 400 kilowatts.

As an antenna system consisting of two identical 195 meter high guyed steel framework masts directional antenna is used, which is designed as shrinkage -reducing antenna for both frequencies. Both masts are grounded at the base and carrying a cage antenna, which is connected above the separating insulator in 95 meters height, which shares the Maste electrically into two sections with the mast structure.
