Meg Gardiner

Meg Gardiner ( born May 15, 1957 in Oklahoma) is an American writer.

Life

She grew up with two sisters and a brother in Santa Barbara ( California).

She took a degree in Ecology at Stanford University, and a as a lawyer at Stanford Law School and worked as a lawyer in Los Angeles. Later she was writing courses at the University of California, Santa Barbara. In 2002 she published her first crime novel.

Today she lives with her husband, Paul Shreve, and their three children in Cobham ( Surrey ) near London.

Works

The main character in the first five novels, the attorney Evan Delaney. The heroine in the following four books is forensic psychiatrist Jo Beckett.
