Mehdi Mostefa - Sbaa (Arabic مهدي مصطفى سبع; born August 30, 1983 in Dijon ) is a French- Algerian football player who is active for the AC Ajaccio currently, he plays mainly as a defensive midfielder, but can also be used as a full-back.

Career

Born the son of an Algerian father and a French mother in Dijon, he played after the beginning of his career at Fontaine- les -Dijon FC for the youth teams from FCO Dijon and AS Monaco.

Early in his career he joined seniors to the third tier for the Ligue 2 relegated ASOA Valence 2004.

After the club had disbanded in the summer of 2005 due to bankruptcy, it pulled him after only one season to the fourth division EDS Montlucon.

A year later he left the club again and accepted an offer from the FC Sète.
