Mehdi Pashazadeh

Mehdi Pashazadeh (born 27 December 1973) is a former Iranian football player and current coach.

Career as a player

Pashazadehs first club Esteghlal Tehran was in his native Iran. The Defensive Allrounder changed in 1998 for the first time to Europe. He tried at Bayer 04 Leverkusen, however, the Iranians at Leverkusen could not prevail. In 1999 he then moved to SC Fortuna Köln. He was loaned by the factory club Leverkusen at the cathedral. 2000 we went back into the home. Pashazadeh moved to Esteghlal Tehran. From the Iranian capital from there went back to Europe. 2003 was a knock at the SK Rapid Wien. After a relatively successful comeback season in the old continent, he was loaned to Styria for SK Sturm Graz. In January 2005, then it went to VfB Admira Wacker Mödling, with whom he descent into second-class First League in 2006. After the 2006/07 season, in which he also took care of the second team of the club, he ended his active career.

Career as a coach

Pashazadeh returned to Iran and became a coach in the third division Gostaresh Foolad Novin from Tabriz.

National

With the Iranian national football team Pashazadeh participated in the Football World Cup 1998 in France in 1998. He played three times, including against the United States. The Iranians then excreted out in the first round.
