Meher Baba

Meher Baba born Merwan Sheriar Irani ( born February 25, 1894 in Pune, Bombay, † January 31, 1969 in Pimpalgaon, Maharashtra ) was an Indian guru and mystic.

Life

As the son of Zoroastriers Sheriar and his wife Shireen born, he met in 1913 the Islamic "holy " Hazrat Babayan († 1931). She kissed him on the forehead. This is the time that is specified as his enlightenment. In the next few years he gathered first disciples around him, the " Meher Baba ", " compassionate Father," called him.
