Mehmet Boztepe (2011)

Mehmet Boztepe ( born January 16, 1988 in Elazig, Turkey) is a Turkish footballer who also has a German passport and is used in the midfield.

Birth and childhood

Mehmet Boztepe came in 1988 in Elazig to the world. In the same year his father moved to Germany and settled down in Moers; a year later moved Mehmet after with his mother and sister.

Career

Mehmet Boztepe played in the youth first for the TV Asberg, before he moved to Borussia Mönchengladbach. From there, he moved in 2007 in the adult population, the second team of Borussia Dortmund. Here he came in the Regionalliga Nord only as a reserve player for the train. Out of 38 possible games, he completed only 15, in which he was standing only once in the starting lineup, but was it replaced prematurely. He and his team failed to qualify for the newly created 3rd Football League.

But this he achieved in 2008/ 09, as the reserve Borussia won the championship of the Regionalliga West, and thus ascended. However, his status remained virtually unchanged. Once again, he was in 15 games on the field, albeit with only 34 game days. But this season he scored his first two goals in the senior football and he denied use over the full 90 minutes if even in the meaningless last game, as the rise has been reached.

A higher class, he started to play on the first two days of the beginning and gave so on 25 July 2009, his professional league debut in the 4-3 defeat at Wacker Burghausen. Later in the series he was, however, only six times in the starting eleven. These six operations came as a wildcard. His goal tally he improved on four hits. Dortmund finished the season at the 18th place in the table, an increase directly again.

Once back in the Regionalliga West, he remained in the season 2010/ 11 first substitute, but came in the course of the round to longer and longer missions and was especially towards the end of the season a mainstay of his team, in the last seven as he matches five goals scored. However, it was already clear early on that the resurgence and you would not be able to finish the season on a mid-table. At the end of the Dortmund occupied the 6th place with 20 points behind the upstart Preußen Münster.

Boztepe then left Germany and moved to the 2011/12 season free transfer to his native country and signed a three -year contract with first division Eskişehirspor. However, in the first half of the 2011/12 season he did not play, so he left the club during the winter break in the Süper Lig. He moved to second division Elazığspor free transfer from his native town of Elazig. There, he signed a contract for two and a half years.

Due to the lack of player eligibility left Boztepe January 31, 2012, the last day of the transfer window, the club and signed a contract with Dutch second division side FC Emmen. He signed a contract until the end of June 2012 inclusive option. On February 20, 2012, the 23rd round of the Jupiler League, he made his debut for FC Emmen in the home game against FC Den Bosch (1:2).

End of August 2012 signed Mehmet Boztepe, the third division Wuppertal SV Borussia a two-year contract until the end of June 2014. In the 2012/13 season he came to 28 missions in which he was able to convince as a midfielder with two goals and twelve templates. But after be renamed to SV Wuppertal club went bankrupt and dismount his contract lost validity.

In June 2013 Boztepe has been committed for the season 2013/14 from the regional league SSVg Velbert. He signed a one year contract until the end of June 2014.

For the second half of the 2013/14 season Boztepe joined the Turkish TFF 1 Lig to Adanaspor.
