Meital Dohan

Meital Dohan (Hebrew מיטל דוהן; born August 24, 1976) is an Israeli actress and singer.

Life

Meital Dohan grew up in a village in central Israel. Even as a teenager she began to play theater, for the sheer fun of the thing, as they said in an interview: "Acting came first as a hobby; did what pure fun and nothing besides fun ". Later she attended the Nissan Nativ, one of the most renowned drama schools in Israel. During her school years she appeared in various theater and television productions. In 2000 she was elected promising young actress of Israel for her performance in the play Best Friends.

She became famous in 2006 by an appearance in an episode of the Sopranos and a supporting role as Yael Hoffman in Weeds.

In 2011, her single Yummy appeared. 2012 On Ya followed, which was created in collaboration with the singer Sean Kingston.
