Meja

Meja Anna Pernilla Beckman ( born February 12, 1969 in Nynäshamn ) is a Swedish singer- songwriter.

Career

Mejas best-known hits are All ' bout the Money and Private Emotion ( duet with Ricky Martin). Meja sings with an American accent. She earned a higher profile after their single How Crazy Are You? as the title music of the Xbox game Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball was used.

Prior to starting her solo career in 1994 Meja sang at the Swedish dance project Legacy of Sound, with whom she had the hit Happy 1993.
