Mékinac Regional County Municipality
Mekinac is a regional county municipality (French municipalité régional du comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Quebec.
It is situated in the Mauricie administrative region, and consists of 14 subordinate administrative units (a city, three towns, a village five Sprengel and four unincorporated areas). The MRC was established on 1 January 1982. The capital is Saint- Tite. The population is 12,349 and the area of 5164.9 km ², which corresponds to a population density of 2.4 inhabitants per km ².
