Melanie Smith (actress)
Melanie Smith ( born December 16, 1962 in Scranton, Pennsylvania ) is an American actress. In addition to two appearances in the soap opera Young and Passionate - As life would have it, she had several guest-starring roles including in the television series Deep Space Nine and Seinfeld. Occasionally, she was seen in movies.
Smith lives in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania and operates a yoga studio named " Yogaphoria ". Melanie Smith has a son and lives with her guru Gideon.
In 1991 she was nominated for a Soap Opera Digest Award for her starring role in How Funny People.
