Mélanie Thierry

Mélanie Thierry (born 17 July 1981 in Saint- Germain -en- Laye, Yvelines ) is a French actress and model.

Life and career

Mélanie Thierry began her career as a preteen model in France, before she turned to acting. First played in French productions, but were able to record any success outside France. At the age of 18, she drew attention to herself as an actress in The Legend of pianists. Her first Hollywood movie was Babylon A.D. (2008). For her title role in the Parisian theater production of the Tennessee Williams play Baby Doll, she was nominated for the most important French Theatre Award Molière 2009. The following year she received for her role in Philippe Le dernier Godeaus feature film pour la route the César Award for Best Young Actress.

Thierry has with the singer Raphaël Haroche two sons: Roman ( * 2008) and Aliocha (* 2013)
