Melli (Spanish footballer)

Juan Alberto Andreu Alvarado, aka Melli (* June 6, 1984 in Barbate ) is a Spanish footballer who plays in Segunda División for CD Tenerife.

Playing career

With 14 years Melli came to Real Betis, where he plays uninterrupted until today, apart from a loan to Poli Ejido Deportivo. After he went through all the youth ranks he joined in 2001 /02 to Poli Ejido Deportivo, where he came just two inserts. Then he returned to Betis and was promoted to the first team. His biggest success was winning the Copa del Rey in 2005. Moreover Melli played with Betis in the UEFA Cup and the Champions League.

Even after relegation from the Primera División in 2009 remained Melli Betis faithful. After the missed resurgence in the summer of 2010 he moved to league rivals CD Tenerife.
