Mellow Man Ace
Mellow Man Ace ( born April 12, 1967 in Pinar del Rio, Cuba, civil Ulpiano Sergio Reyes ) is an American- Cuban rapper.
Biography
His family left Cuba when he was four years old. The family moved over Miami and New Jersey to California. There he grew up in South Gate, California. He came 1983 rap music, inspired by The Treacherous Three.
He was a member of the group DVX ( Devastating Vocal Xcellence ), from the Cypress Hill ( in which his brother Sen Dog 's ) emerged, but parted to pursue a solo career. Nevertheless, he was a frequent feature Artist Cypress Hill. His single Mas Pingon 1987 was the first complete Spanish rap single. His single Mentirosa 1990 was the first gold single of a Latino rapper in the U.S. and even came on the Hot 100 pop charts at # 14 Also the album Escape From Havana managed in the same year in the official album charts until No. 69 and in the Latin pop charts up to 7
Together with his brother Sen Dog, he runs the Latin Thug Records label and enters with him as The Reyes Brothers.
