Melly Oitzl

Melly S. Oitzl (actually Maria Silvana Oitzl; * 1955 in Lind / Arnold Stein) is an Austrian neurobiologist. It is high school teacher in medical pharmacology at the University of Leiden and Professor of Cognitive Neurobiology at the University of Amsterdam. Oitzl is especially interested in the interactions between stress, cognition and emotion. In 1989 she received his doctorate magna cum laude from the Heinrich -Heine University in Dusseldorf.
