Melody Harris-Jensbach

Melody Harris -Jens Bach ( * 1961) is an American- South Korean manager. She lives in Germany since 1986.

Career

She studied at the Parsons School of Design in New York. Through her marriage Melody Harris - Jensbach came to Germany, where she worked at the label cartoon and Triangle in Neuss 1986. Then they took over responsibility for Viventy by Bernd Berger, a fashion brand from Hennef. She was chief designer of Escada daughter, Laurel 1993, they moved to Fink in Darmstadt.

In 1998, Harris - Jensbach as design director for women's clothing for the fashion company Esprit de Corp.. In 2003 she took over the responsibility as International Product Manager Woman. Since 2005, she led the largest segment of Esprit Holding, the world's Division women 's casual wear.

Puma announced in June 2007 that Harris - Jensbach was appointed with effect from 1 January 2008 to the Executive Board. She followed Martin Gaensler and took over the responsibility for the areas of product, product development, design, business unit management and global sourcing for the retail business of the company. She was thus the first female vice - head of a German stock company. In July 2011, Puma announced that Harris Jensbach the company leave. January 9, 2012, she is back at Esprit Holdings as Chief Product & Design Officer. After nearly two years on Esprit Harris Jensbach announced on 31 October 2013. However, it will still be working as a consultant for the fashion group by mid-2014.
