Melody Sucharewicz

Melody Sucharewicz (* 1980 in Munich) is a Germany -born Israeli consultant for political communication and strategy. 2006-2007 she was for the period of one year, Goodwill Ambassador of Israel.

Life

A Jewish family entstammend, wandered Sucharewicz after they had gained the baccalaureate at the Luitpold Gymnasium in Munich in 1999 to Israel. Her studies in anthropology, sociology at the University of Tel Aviv followed the Master ( M.Sc.) in Business Management at the same university. Since 2012, she earned her doctorate in War Studies at King's College London.

In her role as Goodwill Ambassador Israeli Sucharewicz was elected to the Israeli reality television show The Ambassador. The goal was to select an advocate for the interests of Israel from among thousands of candidates. This rhetorical talent and diplomatic skills were just as important as social skills. In shortlisted were 14 candidates who had put their skills on campaigns in Uganda, Sweden, Russia and the U.S. to the test. The three finalists finally stopped in front of the UN in New York speeches in which they set out their vision of a Middle East peace. For this method Sucharewicz emerged as the winner.

Since her appointment by a committee of eminent persons of the Israeli public Sucharewicz has a presence in the international media, be it through their speeches in the European Parliament, through appearances on television talk shows and interviews in which she touts Israel and the peace process in the Middle East for the position. After returning from her mission, she worked among others for the Peres Center for Peace in Tel Aviv. Today she is a consultant in the private and public sector. One focus of their public commitment to Israel is Germany.
