Melvin Manhoef

Melvin Manhoef ( born May 11, 1976 in Paramaribo, Suriname) is a Dutch- Surinamese Muay Thai kickboxer and mixed martial arts fighter.

Features of his fighting style is aggressive and its enormous clout. He currently trains in Amsterdam.

Biography

Manhoef was born in Paramaribo, the capital of Suriname. At the age of three years he and his family moved to the Netherlands to Rotterdam. In his youth he played better football until his younger brother Moreno brought him closer to the Muay Thai martial arts. Finally, he quickly signed up at the gym the city Zaandam and began with professional training.

With 18 years Manhoef had his first fight that went to him by point decision. Throughout his career, Manhoef was able to secure four titles in MMA and kickboxing. He appears regularly on at K -1, Dream and It's - Showtime Events. In addition to the titles his repeated participation in the K -1 World Grand Prix Finals were his greatest successes.
