Men's major golf championships
The list of winners at Golf Major tournaments lists all the winners on the four major tournaments in golf since 1860. According to the current definition, these are The Masters Tournament ( U.S. Masters ), U.S. Open, The Open Championship (British Open) and the PGA Championship. As previously were other tournaments as majors, there are also isolated, differing from this list statements. In another part of 42 golfers who have won at least three times listed. 32 more golfers have twice and 120 golfers have won once. The period during which the athlete has won, the total number of wins and the number of victories in the individual tournaments are given. Jack Nicklaus from the United States, with 18 major victories 1962-1986 the most successful golfers. Tiger Woods with his 14 wins since 1997, the most among active golfer and the second most successful in the eternal rankings.
