MercyMe
MercyMe is an American CCM band ( Contemporary Christian Music) from Greenville, Texas. The group consists of vocalist Bart Millard, keyboardist James Bryson, percussionist Robin Shaffer, bassist Nathan Cochran and guitarists Michael Scheuchzer and Barry Graul.
The band was formed in 1994 and released six independent albums before she signed in 2001 by the label INO Records. General awareness of the group reached for the first time with the single I Can Only Imagine and the debut album Almost There. Since then, the group has released a further five studio albums. Multiple publications were awarded gold, also a best-of album was released. MercyMe was repeatedly nominated for a Grammy Award.
