Merei

Merei is a Romanian greater community that the county seat of Buzău is located west in the same district at the foot of the hill Dealu Mare.

In the town you can find excellent soil and climatic conditions for viticulture. Furthermore, the agricultural areas are also ideal for growing vegetables. Within the area housing the famous spa is located in eingemeindeten village Sărata - Monteoru. Originally, it had drilled for oil and eventually came across the healing spring.
