Meresankh II

Meresanch II was a princess of the ancient Egyptian 4th Dynasty. She was a daughter of Pharaoh Khufu and married to Horbaef, who was probably her brother. Children from this marriage were Djati and a daughter named Neferetkau.

Meresanch II the mastaba G 7410 belongs to the Eastern Cemetery of the Pyramid of Cheops. Relief fragments from the victims chapel, now in the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, show the deceased sitting in a boat. Also in Boston today is the sarcophagus of Meresanch II It is made of red granite and its lid is adorned with a list of victims and the representation of Anubis jackal.
