Merobaudes (poet)

Flavius ​​Merobaudes was a native of Hispania Late Antique Latin poet in the 5th century.

Merobaudes glorified in a poem a triumph of the Roman army master Aetius. In return he received a statue in the Forum of Trajan. According to the preserved inscription of the image will Merobaudes held the rank of vir spectabilis and was at the imperial court worked as comes sacri consistorii.
