MeshPubMed

MeshPubMed after GoPubMed the second knowledge-based search engine for biomedical texts. The Medical Subject Headings ( MeSH) are referred to as " Content" is used to structure the approximately 16 million articles in the MEDLINE database (2006 ). The search engine allows doctors ( and biologists ) much faster to find relevant results.

The technology used in MeshPubMed is generic and can in principle for arbitrary text and arbitrary knowledge bases ( ontologies) will used. It was developed by a working group of Prof. Dr. Michael Schroeder at the Technical University of Dresden and Trans Insight, a spin-off of the Technical University.
