Metal Improvement Company

The Metal Improvement Company (in short: MIC ) is a subsidiary of the American Curtiss -Wright Corporation. The Metal Improvement Company was founded in 1946 by a Jewish émigré families in Los Angeles as a workshop for the application of the then-new shot-peening process, which originated in the aviation industry. Today, MIC operates more than 70 offices worldwide. The main branch of the MIC is in Paramus, NJ. In Germany, the company operates four branches.

MIC machined steel and other metallic materials by surface treatments such as shot blasting, coating and heat treatment.
