Formation

The album was under difficult circumstances. When the musicians gathered the first ideas for new songs turned out that the band members wanted to develop the music in different directions on. As a consequence, left in November 2009, drummer Mike Park Nielsen and Sandager brothers Mikkel (vocals) and Morten (keyboards), the group. The post on the drums took over Morten Sørensen Løwe who played, among other things with the bands The Arcane Order and Submission. The vocals took over the bassist René Pedersen.

In the spring and summer of 2010 the musicians revised the existing songs. Harder songs like "Through the Eyes of the Devil" and "On the Edge of Sanity" gave this set the tone for the other songs. The recordings took place in the Danish town of Ribe in the Hansen Studios. It was produced and mixed by Jacob Hansen Metamorphosis. All keyboards were played by Kim Olesen of the band Anubis Gate. According to René Pedersen album title to represent the new beginning of the band. On the album cover of this process is represented by the phoenix.
