Meyenheim

Meyenheim ( German Meienheim ) is a commune with 1728 inhabitants ( 1 January 2011) in the department of Haut-Rhin in the Alsace region. It belongs to the district Guebwiller, for Canton Ensisheim and community association Centre Haut-Rhin.

Meyenheim is a garrison of the French army and currently houses (2013 ) the " Régiment de marche du Tchad " - (Chad -Marsch Regiment)

Geography

The community Meyenheim straddles the River Ill, about half way between Colmar and Mulhouse.
