Mi Fu

Mi Fu米 芾( Mǐ Fú ), The Old Mi ( * 1051 in the province of Jiangsu, † 1107 in Kaifeng ), also Mi Fei was a famous Chinese painter.

He was a contemporary of the famous literati painter Su Dongpo, he has made ​​but rarely in person. His son, the young Mi was Mǐ Yǒurén (米 友仁).

Anecdote

An anecdote tells of a meeting of the two. Mi Fu Su Dongpo received by two tables was set up in a large room, where brush, ink and three hundred sheets of paper documents.
