Mia (game)

Liar's Dice, etc. as Maxie, Meier and under other names such as Mäx (le), Lügenmax ( - mäxchen ) Schummelmax, Schwindelmäx, Mexican, Mexico, meter Peter, Timmy Meier, lies, lies Paschen, squads, twenty-one known, is a well-known dice game.

Overview

It can be played with any number of players and is often used as a drinking game. It was, among other things by the movie Werner - Beinhart later! popular since the protagonists during the act frequently " Liar's Dice ". The game also appeared in Fun Connection as a commercial variant in the form of a beer can under the name Fun with Can -game instructions on the can and a viewing window for the cube and as Affengeil with banana-shaped cubes at MB.

Game rules

The game is played with two dice and a dice cup with saucer. Dice around. The Dicing may view the first litter covered. Then the coaster is passed with masked by the dice cup dice to the next player, the need to be hip points rolled. If the player has not started the round, its announcement must exceed the previously announced score. The hip score can be true or a lie. The next player has the following three options:

  • He rolls itself as described above and must declare a higher score
  • He can doubt the announcement and looks at the dice
  • He says a deeper eye number, as he rolled the dice, but is higher than the number of eyes by the previous player. If the next player the announcement believes he can forward it without rolling the dice if he believes that a higher number is rolled, but was not announced. ( easily said, lying low is allowed)

A player draws, and then either unmasked liars or wrongly and lose one point. Then the detective player starts the next round. In the variant as a drinking game a set amount of drink to be consumed one minus point.

Order

Have the lowest value different numbers. It is high as tens digit, interpreted the highest throws. Above them the dice with two equal numbers. At the highest of Meier 's (or: Maxie ), the combination 21 This results in the sequence: 31, 32, 41, 42, 43, 51, 52, 53, 54, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 11, 22, 33, 44, 55, 66, 21 is spoken Thirty-one, thirty-two, ..., Snake Eyes (or one doubles ), two doubles, ..., Meier.

If Meier / Maxie hip, the Dicing must show this same time, there can be neither higher nor lied rolled. The next player automatically loses ( must drink / pay / get a line, etc.) and begin to re- roll the dice. (Variant: All players must drink / pay / get a line, etc. ) The principle of the rule of the game states that a higher score must always be spoken when you share.

Another variation is to award a minus point and let the announcement as the players start over.

Variations

Often the game is played with one or more of the following variations:

  • Accused of someone the cube ends of a lie, the (wrongly) doubting player is punished with 2 penalty points. This gives the bluff a greater importance in the game.
  • Go down it does not count as lies - that is a three of a kind cubed announced as one legitimate Pasch ( sight unseen can be increased and passed on, if you trust its predecessor ). A too low hip Pasch is occasionally marked accordingly by adding " with (much) air." If you roll any higher than that and does not want to lie, one must again roll the dice and gives the cup without looking further and simply say a higher number.
  • For professionals: The receiver believes the number rolled. He gives the cube but no further, but returned to the cuber with the request to make a new higher offer. Had previously called the correct number of eyes cuber, he must now lie a higher number. Does the receiver and rejects again, the dicer has won when he reveals. Example: cuber receives the dice with 64 He rolls 33 and even called the score 11 receiver believes 11 and returns to the cuber. Dicer increased its offer to 33 recipients still believes and returns. Dicer is lying 44th The receiver has three alternatives:
  • The Pasch throws are played in reverse order, ie after 65 follows six doubles, ..., Snake Eyes, Meier. [..., 64, 65, 66, 55, 44, 33, 22, 11, 21 ]
  • The 42 is not classified, but follows only after 21 and thus provides the highest possible throw is: 31, 32, 41, 43, 51, 52, 53, 54, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 11, 22, 33, 44, 55, 66, 21, 42 It is called! " Hamburger " then " double Meier " or " Doppelmäxchen " or. Refers to someone as " 42", so he has lost immediately.
  • If someone Meier / Maxie announces, the next player has the opportunity to believe it and dice, so to start over and get a minus point, or he does not believe it and reveals. Is it true gets the unbeliever two minuses, it is not true, as the liar gets two minus points.
  • A Meier / Maxie can not be transferred ( because you have to pass a little higher, which is not possible with a Meier ). Is often played together with the previous variation.
  • In case of a detected Meiers / Mäxchens there is a game changing direction.
  • In case of a detected Meiers / Mäxchens all other players get a minus point.
  • In case of a detected Meiers / Mäxchens the discoverers may add a match rule that applies to the next Meier (eg, no one is allowed to touch the face, otherwise one gets a minus point ).
  • The 31 counts as the second highest result, ie, it is higher than the 6 Pasch and lower than Meier. The 31 is then referred to no more than 31, but as DDR - Meier.
  • The numbers 61 to 65 are given names (61 - enough, 62 - more than enough, 63 - more than enough, 64 - more than enough and 65 - much more than enough ); who calls the numbers, automatically loses.
  • If an equal number was thrown, there is a change of direction.
  • The 31 is designated as a " bee " and everyone must drink.
  • The above figure may never be repeated; who repeatedly receives a minus point or must drink.
  • The Meier, once it is rolled, immediately revealed, and every other player gets a minus point. It can not be lied thus, in the case he is called Bully! designated and can be reached due also to the regional Snake Eyes. Thus is the Snake Eyes is above all and a classic Meier can hereby be trumped.
  • Those passing the cup and " 21" instead says Meier, immediately gets a negative point, whether it's a Meier or not. The next player starts a new round.
  • If the eyes combination " 32" ( derived from the 23) is rolled, a change of direction takes place.
  • The trendy number must be no higher than the previous players from the hip, but must not only be lower. Thus, even a Meier / Maxie are outbid by another Meier / Maxie ( then called Meier / Maxi 1/2). In principle, the round can take as long to go ( Meier / Maxie 2/3, Meier / Timmy 3/4, Meier / Maxi 4/5, etc.), revealed to anyone.
  • The trendy number must just in case that a Maxie / Meier was rolled, not higher than the be of the previous players hip. Thus, a Meier / Maxi with another Meier / Maxie are outbid ( then Meier / Maxi 1/2 or " Double Maxi " or "counter- Maxie " called ). In principle, the round can go for as long ( double / triple / quadruple Maxie, etc.), discovered by someone. If uncovered, then double / quadruple / six times etc. Minus points are awarded to the liar and the "infidels" ( in the variation as a drinking game has been drinking according to the double / quadruple / etc sixfold quantity ).
  • Each dropped cubes shall be punished by a minus point.
  • If the dice are mutually after the dice, this is called " Riedo " and must be uncovered directly. Then there is a minus point for all.
  • It is allowed to lie deeper than the actual higher number compared to the previous litter.
