Mia Sara
Mia Sara ( born June 19, 1967 in Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn, New York City as Mia Sarapocciello ) is an American actress of Italian descent.
Career
Mia Sara started her career in 1985 at age 17 with the lead role in the fantasy film Legend with Tom Cruise. You already acquired a year later better known for her role as Sloane Peterson in the movie Ferris Bueller's Day, in which she played the girlfriend of Matthew Broderick aka Ferris Bueller.
Subsequently, she appeared in the TV movie Queenie and entered 1995 on the side of Jean -Claude Van Damme in the movie Timecop. For this role, Sara also received the award for " Best Supporting Actress " of the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films.
Personal
Her father is a photographer and her mother stylist and photographer. She has a younger sister. Sara attended Saint Ann 's School in Brooklyn.
In March 1996, she married Jason Connery, son of Sean Connery, she on the film set of the film The Palmer Files: The Red Death had come to know. In June 1997 came their son to the world. The marriage ended in divorce in 2002. Together with Brian Henson, son of Jim Henson, Sara has a daughter.
