Miao Xiaochun

Miao Xiaochun (缪晓春; pinyin: Miao Xiǎochūn; born 1964 in Wuxl, Jlangsu, China) is a Chinese artist photo and computer graphics.

Life and career

From 1982 to 1986 Miao Xiaochun studied at Nanjing University, from 1986 to 1989 at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing. 1989 to 1995 he lived as an artist in Beijing. 1995 to 1999 he studied at the School of Art Kassel. Since 1999 he is a lecturer in the Department of Photography and Digital Medie of Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing.

In his book Last Judgement in Cyberspace refers to Michelangelo's fresco in the Sistine Chapel in Rome.

Miao Xiaochun lives and works in Beijing.
