Miaow (English for meow ) is a music album by British pop band The Beautiful South from 1994.
Background
The more than 54 -minute album is the alternatives associated with rock and was taken in the fall of 1993. It appeared under the label Go! Discs and contains twelve songs, one of which succeeded in placing in the UK singles charts three: Good As Gold at No. 23, Everybody's Talkin ' at number 12, and Prettiest Eyes on 37th
The texts were mostly written by Dave Rotheray and Paul Heaton, as with most other albums the band. They describe a depressed moment in Heaton's life.
Because of the songs mini Correct and Worthless Lie decided the singer Briana Corrigan to leave the band. It was replaced after the album by Jacqui Abbott.
The cover shows four dogs sitting in a boat that is exposed in a body of water with high waves. Originally another image should be used.
In the UK, the album reached number six on the charts.
