Mice Galaxies

NGC 4676 (sometimes called The Mice ) is an interacting pair of galaxies in the constellation Coma Berenices, is about 300 million light -years away from Earth. The two galaxies collided in front of about 150 million years ago and will merge in about 400 million years to form an elliptical galaxy. NGC 4676 March 13, 1785 was discovered by the German - British astronomer William Herschel.
