Michael Brook
Michael Brook ( born 1952 in Toronto, Ontario ) is a Canadian musician, guitarist and music producer.
He is known especially for his publications in the field of Ambient and his participation in numerous film scores. His visually embossed musical style is characterized by large experimentation and rather unusual timbres.
Over time, he has worked with a number of artists, including Brian Eno, Daniel Lanois, the Pakistani musician Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Sinéad O'Connor, The Edge, Jon Hassell, Pieter Nooten (formerly with Clan of Xymox ) David Sylvian and many others.
Michael Brook developed the Infinite Guitar, which allows, among other things, to extend the each note played an electric guitar as desired.
