Michael Di Pasqua

Michael Di Pasqua ( born May 4, 1953 in Orlando ( Florida) ) is an American drummer of modern jazz.

Already with eight years Di Pasqua received drum lessons and with ten years he played in a quartet his father, who played tenor saxophone. He studied in New York City Drum and worked as a studio musician. Between 1976 and 1980 he was with David Friedman and Dave Samuels Member at Double Image. Then he played with Samuels, David Darling and Paul McCandless at Gallery and played the album Old Friends, New Friends by Ralph Towner one. He continued to participate in albums by Eberhard Weber, Jan Garbarek, Zoot Sims, Al Cohn, and Gerry Mulligan.
