Michael Droese

Michael Droese ( born August 9, 1952 in Ueckermuende ) is a German athlete who - starting for the GDR - at the European Championships 1974 bronze medal with the 4 x 100 - meter relay team won the GDR ( 38.99 s; together Hans -Jürgen Bombach, Manfred Kokot and Siegfried Schenke ). In these European Championships he also started in the 100 -meter run and was eliminated in the semifinals.

Michael Droese competed for the SC Motor Jena. In his time he was 74 kg heavy.
