Michael Ealy

Michael Ealy ( born August 3, 1973 in Silver Spring, Maryland as Michael Brown ) is an American actor.

Life and career

Michael Ealy was born in Silver Spring. He played football and basketball for the Springbrook High School. After graduating from high school he attended the University of Maryland. There he studied English. After graduating, he moved to New York.

Ealy is best known for his starring role in the TV series Sleeper Cell, in which he plays an undercover agent who infiltrated an Islamic terrorist cell. This role earned him a nomination at the Golden Globe Awards 2007 Best in category protagonist - a mini - series or TV movie. In 2012 he held a starring role in the series Common Law.
