Michael Gladis

Michael Gladis James ( born August 30, 1977 in Houston, Texas ) is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Paul Kinsey on the television series Mad Men

Life

Gladis grew up in Farmington, Connecticut, where he attended Farmington High School until 1995. Then he studied at the School of Art and Design Alfred University and then to 1999 theater at the State University of New York at New Paltz.

After graduation, Gladis moved to New York City. He appeared in a nationwide theater tour of the play Romeo and Juliet and was later also starred in a production of Bertolt Brecht's Baal at the off- off -Broadway Flea Theater.

In 2002 he received a first supporting role in the feature film K-19 - Showdown in the depth. This was followed by roles in television series such as Third Watch - use the limit or Hope and Faith, before he took over the role from 2007 Copywriter Paul Kinsey in three seasons of the AMC series Mad Men. In the years 2009 and 2010 for Best Gladis was at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in the category Acting Ensemble in a Television Series - Drama award.

After the departure from the show Gladis was seen among others in movies like J. Edgar, Devil 's Knot or Knights of Badassdom.
