Michael Kugler ( born September 3, 1981 in Olpe ) is a German football player.

Career

Kugler was after quite successful youth football career discovered in SpVg Olpe in 1995 by players Scouts of the BV Borussia Dortmund and brought into the youth section of the Dortmund club. With the B -Juniors he won the 1998 German Championship. With progressive development, he was appointed to the A-team of the league. He acted as an attacking midfielder, but was loaded only once.

In summer 2002, Michael Kugler joined free transfer on 1 FC Nuremberg. He came because of poor performance and frequent injuries very rarely used, so that he for the first FCN only two games in the first Bundesliga ( 2002/ 03) and a game in the 2nd Bundesliga ( 2003/04 ) completed. Again, he was employed as an attacking midfielder. Two years later he moved again free transfer to VfL Osnabrück in the Regionalliga Nord. He completed 59 league games and two DFB Pokal games. From the season 2006/ 07 he was at Dynamo Dresden under contract. At first he came there, however due to severe knee injuries rarely used. On 28 August 2009, originally by the end of June 2010 ongoing contract with Dynamo Dresden was terminated by mutual agreement. Kugler then moved to Sportfreunde Lotte.

On June 15, 2010 Kugler joined the Westphalia league promoted 1.FC Kaan -Marie Born, near his hometown of Olpe.
