Michael Palme

Michael Palm ( born 1943 in Prague, † February 10, 2010 in Wiesbaden ) was a German sports journalist.

Life

Palm came in 1963 ZDF and worked from 1978 until his retirement in 2004 in various capacities for the main editorial sport. He participated in all Olympic Games and football World Cups and European Championships as a presenter, reporter, interviewer and commentator 1978-2004. Palm has also served temporarily as head of ZDF editorial The sport mirrors. After his retirement in 2004 he moved to Pay- TV channel Premiere. For its coverage of the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000, he was awarded the Silver Ball of the National Olympic Committee of Germany ( NOK).

Palm died at the age of 66 years in Wiesbaden from the effects of a stroke.
