Michael Patrick Driscoll

Michael Patrick Driscoll ( born August 8, 1939 in Long Beach ) is an American clergyman and bishop of Boise City.

Life

The archbishop of Los Angeles, Cardinal James Francis Aloysius McIntyre, ordained him a priest on May 1, 1965.

Pope John Paul II appointed him Auxiliary Bishop December 19, 1989 in Orange, California and Titular Bishop of Maxita. He received his episcopal consecration of the Bishop of Orange in California, Norman Francis McFarland, on March 6 of next year; Co-consecrators were Thomas Joseph Connolly, Bishop of Baker, and John Thomas Steinbock, Bishop of Santa Rosa in California.

On January 18, 1999, he was appointed Bishop of Boise City, and introduced into the office on 17 March of the same year.
