Michael Ratajczak ( born April 16, 1982 in Herne ) is a German football goalkeeper.

Career

Michael Ratajczak began his career with the youth of the FC Schalke 04 and Borussia Dortmund joined later. Under reserve coach Horst Koeppel he denied in 2001 his first games in the Oberliga Westfalen. For the second team of the BVB he graduated in the 2002/03 season along with 18 games in the Regionalliga. In 2003 he moved to second division LR Ahlen, for whom he played seven games in two seasons. After him, his path led back to the Regionalliga to Rot- Weiß Erfurt, where he arrived on 29 missions in two years.

For the 2007 /08 season he was at Fortuna Dusseldorf under contract. First, where he could not free himself as the number one and only played six games at the end of the Regionalliga season 2007/ 08 as Michael Melka suffered a herniated disc. On the first day of the 2009/10 season Ratajczak could benefit again from an injury Melkas and was in complete season number one, even after milking had returned. In the following season Ratajczak was replaced after four defeats in the first four games back against its competitors milking. As this, however, hurt again in February 2011 turned out, he was allowed again for the rest of the season to score. Also in the first half of the season 2011/12 he was a regular goalkeeper, before he lost that middle of the second half to Robert Almer. In the last three games of the season but he came back into use. Also in the relegation against Hertha BSC played Ratajczak. Also thanks to his achievements Fortuna Dusseldorf rose in the Bundesliga. After the commitment of the goalkeeper Fabian Giefer his contract in Dusseldorf, however, was not subsequently extended.

For the 2012/13 season Ratajczak had to change an offer to Greece to Asteras Tripolis, but decided against it. During his Vereinslosigkeit he kept fit with Uwe Kamps and Borussia Moenchengladbach.

End of January 2013 signed a contract Ratajczak then the Belgian second division team White Star Woluwe until the end of season 2012/13. For the 2013/14 season is Ratajczak joined the third division side MSV Duisburg.
