Michaela Konrad

Michaela Konrad (born 1972 in Graz) is an Austrian illustrator and artist.

Life and work

After studying at the University of Applied Arts, she began her Comic Style Love Space universe. It includes paintings, screen and offset printing, and comic publications. As part of its exhibition Impacts Comic Art at the Art Museum of Timisoara (Romania ) began their collaboration with the Romanian multimedia artist Daniel Dorobantu. Together, the multimedia comic installation Memories of Now was born. Memories of Now is a next comic and Ars Electronica project. Since March 2013, the Picasso cartoon animation On the Beach, which was created in collaboration with Eugen Neacsu and Octavian Horvath, program point in the Ars Electronica Center.

Michaela Konrad works in Santa Cruz ( Tenerife ) and in Vienna.

Style

Konrad draws very reduced and concentrated on the essentials. Her intention is to combine art and comics. Press to their book Moon converter:
