Michał Chałbiński

Michał Chałbiński ( born October 16, 1976 in Jastrzębie Zdrój, Poland ) is a former Polish football player.

Career

Chałbiński began his career with 17 years at Piotrcovia Piotrków, for whom he played for a year. He then returned for two years to his youth club GKS Jastrzębie before he moved to GKS Katowice. In the following years it kept Chałbiński never more than one year at a club and he moved four times after each just one season, the club until he first three seasons in succession remained at Odra Wodzisław Slaski in 2000.

After his time in Wodzisław Śląski he was taken by the then second division side SSV Jahn Regensburg under contract and thus changed the first time a non- Polish club. In Regensburg, who eventually was able to record any successful time. In only eight games he managed no goals. Since the Jahn was relegated to the Regionalliga after just one season again, Chałbińskis contract was not renewed and he moved back to Poland.

Since 2005 he has been employed by Zagłębie Lubin, with whom he was Polish champion in 2007 and 2008 Polish Supercup winner. He was deported for reasons unknown to the second team of Zagłębie Lubin end of 2008 and played in the fourth division. 2009 saw Michał Chałbiński finally to league rivals Polonia Warsaw, where he could not prevail, and in 1.5 years played only 10 league games. In the season 2010/2011 he was the then second division Piast Gliwice under contract, but did not even here about the role of reservists beyond. In 2011 he came under suspicion of corruption and ended his footballing career.
